SINGULAR is created by Portland design studio Alpha India.  Recognizing that space is increasingly at a premium in many urban areas, we set out to develop an elegant furnishing with versatile function and a minimal spacial footprint.  Our approach is “do more using less.”  Our products are beautiful uncluttered pieces that can be used everyday in even the smallest home or office space.

We believe that great design is the point where anything added or removed would be for the worse.  An obsessive attention to detail pushes us to create nuanced products that are handsome in form and intuitive in function.  Our biggest satisfaction often comes from the details that are rarely seen.
